"Gift shop was actually great"
I didn’t expect much from the gift shop, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts. They had a bunch of cool science toys, books, rocks, and little kid-friendly gifts that were fun to browse. Prices seemed decent, I guess, though I still somehow spent more than I meant to. Whatever, no regrets

"Fair Price, No Weird Catch"
The ticket price felt fair for everything you get inside. I kept waiting for some hidden catch or sneaky “gotcha” fee, because you know how places love to pull that move, but it actually felt reasonable.

"Nicer Staff Than I Expected"
I wasn’t expecting much beyond basic directions, but the staff were really kind. They helped us find the kids area and answered our questions without making us feel rushed at all. Just genuinely nice people working there, which made the visit a lot easier

The kids really enjoyed the hands-on exhibits and had fun trying everything out, so I’m glad we went. That said, a few of the screens weren’t working, which was disappointing, and the place felt crowded the whole time. I kind of regret not checking for a less busy time to visit because it probably would’ve been a much better experience

"Fun event, just felt a little too crowded"
I went to one of their special programs, and it was... I mean, it was fun overall. The kids definitely enjoyed it, so that was nice. But it did feel really packed, and everything seemed a bit rushed. I guess I just expected it to be a little better organized.

"Felt really comfortable bringing my kids here"
I took my kids to the Perot Museum i kept thinking, okay, this place has things under control. Security was easy to spot, the bag check didn’t take forever, and the staff seemed aware of what was going on without hovering or making it feel tense. Everything just felt organized and calm, which is exactly what you want when you’re out with kids. I’d definitely go back without thinking twice

"Restrooms were easy to find"
I went with my kids, so I was mostly hoping the restrooms wouldn’t be a hassle to find, and thankfully, they were easy to spot on each floor. They were clean enough for what I expected in a busy place, which was a relief. The only downside was the wait near the more crowded areas, but overall it worked out fine

"Fun visit, but I totally underestimated it"
I had a really fun time, but I felt kind of embarrassed because I thought one afternoon would be plenty and I was so wrong. There was way more to see than I expected, so I ended up rushing through parts of it. I’d definitely go back, just with a better plan next time.

"Pretty fun, though louder than I expected"
I bought my tickets through perotmuseum.org, that part was smoother than I expected. No weird checkout issues or anything, which was a nice start.
The museum was genuinely interesting, I’ll give it that, but I’m not totally sure I’d call it relaxing. Some floors were fine and easy to wander through, while other spots had kids running around and lots of echoing noise, so it got a little draining after a bit.
I did appreciate that there were a few quieter areas where I could step aside and reset for a minute. Overall, I’m glad I went, even if it wasn’t perfect. If noise gets to you easily, maybe bring headphones just in case.
"Smooth ticket booking, easy entry"
I booked our tickets on Perot Museum the night before, and overall it was a easy process. Picking a time slot was straightforward, checkout didn’t take long, and the confirmation email showed up right away.
When we got to the museum, they scanned the tickets on my phone without any trouble. It was nice to skip a longer line and just head in, so while it wasn’t anything fancy, it worked exactly the way you’d want it to.

"Really glad it lived up to the hype"
I took my two kids on Saturday i was a little worried it might be one of those places that looks better online than it actually is. But we had a great time. The kids loved how much there was to touch and try, the bathrooms were clean, and best of all, we never felt rushed. Definitely felt like we got what we came for.

"Reaaally nice museum visit"
Had a reaaally nice time at the Perot Museum. Parking was easy to figure out, though it definitely wasn’t suuuper cheap. Accessibility was good overall too — the ramps and elevators made getting around a loooot easier. I’d definitely go again.
"Took my kids to the Perot…"
Took my kids to the Perot Museum i was impressed with how clean the whole place was. The bathrooms were tidy, the floors looked well taken care of, and the exhibits didn’t feel dusty or run down at all. Even the busier spots were kept up better than I expected. It made the visit alot more comfortable, and we’d definitely go again.

"Just a heads-up for anyone planning…"
Just a heads-up for anyone planning to go: this place has a really good variety of things to do, especially if you like hands-on exhibits. The dinosaur area was definitely a highlight and kept us interested for a while. That said, some sections got crowded, so don’t expect to have every exhibit to yourself. Overall, it was a solid visit and easily kept us busy for a few hours, but I’d probably try to go at a less busy time if you can.

"Turns Out This Membership Was Actually a Good Idea"
We signed up for the membership this year, and shockingly, it’s been worth every penny. Booking visits online is super easy, the kids somehow never get tired of going, and the staff has been genuinely nice every time we’ve been there. So yes, in a rare parenting win, I’m really glad we got it.

"Good day out with the kids"
We took the kids for a visit and, after the usual last-minute rushing around, finding snacks, and making sure everyone had what they needed, it ended up being a really easy day. I had checked the rules beforehand about outside food, larger bags, and the other stuff you can’t bring in, and they were actually clear, which helped a lot. Once we got there, entry was smooth, security moved quickly, and the staff were friendly about everything. it just made the whole visit feel way less stressful than I expected. 5 stars from us

I checked perotmuseum.org before we went, and the hours were easy to find. We showed up during the posted time and got in without any issues. My only small gripe is that I wish they stayed open a bit later on weekends, especially when you’re there with kids and things start to feel a little rushed. But it wasn’t a big deal, and we still had a really good time overall.

"Super easy to find my way around"
The signs were really clear and made getting around simple. I never had to stop and guess where to go, which saved time and made the whole experience a lot less stressful...

We had my son’s birthday party at the Perot Museum, it was way easier than I expected. I’m not saying museums are usually my first thought for a kid’s party, but they actually pulled it off really well. The kids had tons to keep them busy, and the staff kept everything moving without making us feel rushed. I also loved that we didn’t have to come up with a bunch of extra activities ourselves. Everyone left happy and completely worn out, which is basically the goal. I’d definitely do it again.

"Closure info could be a bit clearer"
Overall, my experience was okay, but I did find the policies a little confusing, and the closure updates seemed to come later than I would’ve liked. I’m the kind of person who likes to know what’s going on ahead of time, probably because I’m always trying to plan around work, errands, and whatever random thing I forgot to do that week. A bit more clarity and quicker communication about closures would’ve helped a lot.
